i checked all the boxes because this book got the stars it deserved because the interesting characters that they put in to the plot twist at the end.thisīook was also violent when the people in the little town were all arrested beaten and taken away for trying to jump the train to west. yes i would recommend this book to other people because it teaches people what real adventure story's should be written like. i thought the book was okay because i liked the adventure he took to find his father and the people that came along the adventure. It takes place in flint Michigan in 1936 the time of the depression you travel with a kid named bud who gets into lots of trouble all around Michigan.one of the central conflicts in bud not buddy is for him to go on an adventure to find his long lost father.The central theme in the book is adventure because bud is trying to get to his father who lives in a town a mile away from flint.
If you do the book bud not buddy is a perfect book for you, Do you like adventuring into the unknown look for something that you know is there but isn't.
